About the Recipe


  • 1 heaped cup mixed raspberries & cherries

  • 1 small beet, peeled and chopped

  • ½ ripe banana

  • 1-2 pitted dates

  • 1 tbsp soaked chia seeds

  • 1 tablespoon raw cacao powder

  • 2 teaspoons almond butter

  • ½ teaspoon fresh lemon juice

  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 150 ml Almond milk


  1. In a blender, combine the mixture of berries & cherries, chopped beet, banana, date, cacao powder, almond butter, lemon juice, vanilla extract, and almond milk.

  2. Blend the mixture on high until smooth and creamy. Pour into a glass with soaked chia seeds and garnish with shaved bits of almond butter and a dusting of cacao powder.

  3. Enjoy the smoothie
