Have you heard about Chai without chai powder ?
Let's check out this amazing recipe so that you can enjoy chai without actually having chai! :)
For Masala :
2-3 green cardamoms
1 stick cinnamon
4-5 black peppercorns
For Tea :
1½ cups water
½ cup almond milk
1 tsp organic jaggery
½ tsp unpeeled ginger, crushed
1-2 blades lemongrass
Grind all the spice ingredients together to a coarse powder.
Mix water, almond milk and masala powder in a pan and boil for 3-4 minutes.
Add jaggery powder and ginger and boil for a minute. Then add lemongrass, cover and boil for 2-3 minutes.
Strain, pour into cups and enjoy the monsoon.
